Rammstein was started in 1993 in East Germany. The band's name was created after a German incident where people died during a crash in a US Air Force flight show.
Rammstein's music is like a horror show at times! Sometimes, one of their members will sing while on fire! Their first album was Herzeleid and they gained fame through live concerts and live performances.
Their first album continued to climb the charts and as it grew more popular, Ramstein's popularity spread beyond Germany. By the time their second album Sehnsucht was released, they were attaining crowds of between 10K and 30K people.
Rammstein remains a very popular band not only in Germany, but also in Austria and Switzerland.

He was born on October 2, 1971, in Mannheim. Originally, Xavier honed his singing in church choirs and amateur musicals.
Hist first album was "Seeing Is Believing," but the album did poorly and for the next several years, Xavier kept to a low profile.
However, Xavier would have several popular hits in the next few releases: "Freisein," "20,000 Meilen" and "Führ Mich ans Licht", which garnered him attention and a growing fan base.
Xavier's third album "Telegramm für X" also reached platinum status four times. He also sings hip hop style songs.
Xavier has also participated as a coach on the TV show The Voice of Germany.
